This is a new – (Pre-owned but  unused), never sharpened or carried Gerber Applegate–Fairbairn Covert Combat Folder with Foliage Green handle, Model #G1611. These Gerber Combat Folder with the very hard to find. Foliage Green handles are very hard to find in any condition. They are identical to the Black Handled Gerber Combat Folders in design except the handle scales on this model are green and the blade is black.

Gerber has made a decision to discontinue any sales to the public on the foliage green knives so our supplies are extremely limited to only this one knife which as stated is in MINT condition. Beware of those sites who advertise these and even show you a picture of a foliage green model as most if not all will substitute a black handled one instead. We have contacted them and have been disappointed when we found they now only carry the black handled knives. NOTE: This is only the 2nd 01611 Foliage Green Covert we have ever had and the other which sold within a few days did not come with the box and papers; these are almost impossible to find in this condition
