Just listed is a Gerber Mark II (1978) #065690 NIB Knife. Amazing this knife was made in 1978, it comes with its original box, paperwork, packing, and sheath w/stone!  Rarely do we ever find one that has sat for 24 years in unused condition!  This Mark II made back then is all complete with box, paperwork packing, etc. In fact the protecting on the blade is still all original.  From what we see, inspected and found, this knife was never inserted into the sheath, never used, just sat in the box with the proper protection and stored in the right place for 42 years.  This Mark II comes with the original packing as well and all paperwork inserts that were common on new sales but later most was removed and tossed.  Hard to find a new issue from the factory where the original boxes were marked with model and serial #, this one matches 100%.  The Sheath as well comes with a stone, and looking at the leather and the finish on the snaps sown you that is was never and I doubt the knife was ever inserted into the sheath.  Very hard to find one that stayed sleeping in perfect condition for 42 years!
