Listed is a Never Used Gerber Mark II made in 1977 – (  Serial #062437).  While there were a few made in 1977 ( very early) with the gray handles, this is one of the first groups made with the black handled finish. At this time Gerber would no longer issue the Gerber Mark II with the gray handle unless it was in one of their special Honor / Anniversary knives they produced special. This knife is in Mint condition with the no issues on the knife or sheath, all the tie downs are in place and in tact, the only missing item is the original box and paperwork.  But in the are of most importance is the knife and black leather sheath showing no signs of usage or storage issues and the fact it is one of the first black handled knives made.  If you are looking for a true important collector Gerber Mark II knife this may be close.
