Listed today is an older Gerber marked knife sharpening steel that will fold into an all leather sheath. These were made by Gerber during and after the steel was stored in a pocket sheath. This allows the sharpening steel to be pivoted and kept between two heavy leather inserts. These were made some time ago and then about 8-10 years they made the for a few years but they were in a very dark brown leather sleeves, this one is earlier made as the sheath is much lighter in finish and color. This has not been used and is in excellent condition.  The leather, steel and stitching is in super condition the steel for sure has never been used the stitching is complete and tight and only a few slight storage indents on the leather which is slight as stated.
