Just acquired by HAO an Gerber ( Rex Applegate, W.E Fairbairn ) “First Production Run ” Combat Folding knife. Gerber designed this knife after the fixed blade knife that Applegate / Fairbairn designed many years ago.  Gerber made the decision to made a folder knife that has extensively been used by our Military and Police for many years. This is one of the first made, which I believe dated the knife back to the early 1990.  The Combat Folder is still in production with many different versions to choose from, this one is the largest and the one Gerber first introduced.   If you are looking for the first of first ones to hit the market, we have a beauty, never used, sharpened or appear ever carried. The knife is in MINT condition as is the sheath. Great addition, if needed, to a Gerber collection.
